Schachenmayr Regia is known the world over as the sock wool, and Baby Smiles "My First Regia" is the perfect sock yarn for babies and little children. One ball of Baby Smiles sock wool will make one pair of baby socks, or even a beautiful hat or booties.
A new mercerizing procedure gives this yarn a particularly wonderful shine and softness, so it is a pleasure to make up and a delight to wear. Regia is known as our classic sock yarn, but the range of solid colors and gently variegated effects make it suitable for all kinds of garments.
All Baby Smiles yarns are guaranteed to be skin-friendly, free of chemicals, easy care and exceptionally soft, perfect for baby’s tender skin.

Size: 25g ball | 105m
Composition: 75% Virgin Wool, 25% Polyamide
Suggested needle size: 2mm - 3mm. We recommend Addi Sockenwonder or Zing Double Pointed needles.
Recommended tension: 30 stitches and 42 rows = 10 x 10cm (4 x 4")
One ball of Regia sock wool will make one pair of kids' socks. We usually have five balls of each colour in stock; please check with us if you want to make sure.
Care Instructions:
- Machine wash up to 40°C
- Do not Bleach
- Iron at low temperatures
- Drycleanable.
