Shirt Skills Class
This class is designed to cover all the tricky aspects of making a shirt! You will finish the day with a bunch of samples and notes so you can apply all of the things you learned individually or together for your next project. As you work through each sample you will come away with new ways of handling your fabrics, and level up your accuracy and control.
Skills covered:
- Sewing a balanced and sharp collar
- Making a professional sleeve placket
- Attaching a cuff
- Prepping a button wrap
- Placing buttons and buttonholes
- Machine and fabric control
If you have a machine I recommend you bring it along - due to the nature of some of the samples, using a machine you are familiar with can be helpful! However we do have machines you can borrow as well. Please also bring a note pad and your phone; some people find it helpful to take photos of the process
