A robust and capable machine for its price, the Singer HD0405S Heavy Duty Overlocker handles thicker fabrics with greater ease and a more consistent stitch than the Singer 14SH754.
The machine comes pre-threaded with a different colour on each spool so that you can easily identify different threads within the stitch and learn the feed system, and it comes with a scrap bag attached to catch all your offcuts - brilliant!
The differential feed ensures perfect seams with no breaking or puckering. It prevents stretch, knit & bias cut fabrics from stretching out as you sew, allowing you to avoid that dreaded 'lettuce leaf edge' (of course if that's the look you want, it can do that too).
If you want to finish an edge without cutting, the movable upper knife is quickly and easily pushed out of the way, no screwdriver required - an essential feature for sewing elastic.
And finally, the Singer HD0405S Heavy Duty Overlocker makes a great-looking companion to either the Singer 4411 or the Singer 4432 Heavy Duty Sewing Machines.
