Kenmore Gathering / Shirring Foot

This Janome-style gathering and shirring foot can be used to create beautiful even gathers in lightweight and sheer fabrics.

The underside of this foot is designed so that only half of the foot is contact with your machine's feed dogs; this causes a gather in the fabric as you sew. It is recommended that you set your machine's tension and stitch length to a slightly higher setting to help with the gathering effect.

PLEASE NOTE: This foot doesn't work with our snap-on adapters due to the second bar at the back, it will work on the machines listed below, provided you have the original snap-on adapter. Please watch the video attached to see how this foot fits on the machine and why it may not fit on yours.
